I practice from the “mind-muscle connection” philosophy: by focusing on specific muscles during exercise, you can increase the number of neurons firing towards those muscles, which in turn increases the number of muscle fibers that contract.
Alignment and form are key.
I ensure that you understand the initiation points of movement, and I always modify for injuries, aches, and pains.
